Premier Ford: Friends, the progress we've made together in Ontario has been nothing short of extraordinary. Workers across Ontario are all different, and the type of work they do is different. But their work ethic and dedication to building this province unites all of us. That is why earlier this week, our government introduced the Working for Workers Act, our plan to build the future of our great province by taking the side of workers. A plan that will leave nobody behind.

Minister McNaughton: We're leading the way, not only in Canada, but across North America and charting the future of work, by keeping vulnerable workers safe by cracking down on recruiters and temporary help agencies who don't follow the rules; ensuring delivery workers are treated with the respect they deserve, by giving them access to bathrooms along their route; breaking down the barriers newcomers face to continuing their careers in Ontario, by removing unfair requirements for Canadian work experience.

Premier Ford: This plan will put workers in the driver's seat of our economy, and lift up everyone by giving workers a hand up to better jobs and bigger paycheques. Our government is proud to be working for workers, and creating new opportunities as we return the province to its rightful place as the economic engine of Canada.
