[Premier Kathleen Wynne and Chief Isadore Day sit in front of First Nation representatives and members of government, signing the Political Accord at Queen's Park in Toronto. Also, a First Nations elder sings an opening prayer which runs underneath the length of the video.]

KATHLEEN WYNNE, Premier of Ontario >> First Nations and the Crown share a long history in Ontario. And so today, by signing this political accord, we've taken an important step to renew the relationship between First Nations and Ontario. At the heart of this accord, and the renewed relationship it represents, is the fundamental and mutually-agreed-to principle that First Nations have an inherent right to self-govern. And with this accord, our government's commitment - and my personal commitment - is that we will turn these principles into real and measurable results for First Nations and for all people across Ontario.
