Narrator >> With the introduction of Ontario’s new Fish and Wildlife Licensing Service, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is introducing a number of new rules and regulations to support the new service.

After you have successfully completed a transaction you will be provided a Licence Summary. You will have the options of: emailing yourself a copy of your Licence Summary to be carried in a digital format on your smartphone, or printing your Licence Summary and carrying it while hunting or fishing.

You can print your Licence Summary from home as many times as you need, by clicking on “My Active Licences” (on the top right hand side of the screen) or "re-print Licence Summary".  If you do not have a computer or printer at home, you are always able to go to a participating ServiceOntario centre or licence issuer and have your Licence Summary printed off for you, and if you chose an electronic copy it can be provided as well.

If you choose to carry your Licence Summary digitally, then you should select the email option to save a copy of the summary to your smartphone.

It is also important to remember that if you choose to carry your Licence Summary on your phone it is your responsibility to make sure your phone has battery power and is protected from the elements. You must be able to display the summary at the request of a Conservation Officer.

If you choose to carry your Licence Summary in a paper copy you should select the print option, or the option to download and print later, making sure that you have a plan in place to keep your Licence Summary  legible while out hunting.
