Narrator >> When submitting a claim with the Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development, you have the option of signing up for the Claimant Portal.
When you sign up and use it to file your claim, the portal provides several benefits. The Claimant Portal allows you to: save a partially completed claim, and continue it at a later time, upload supporting documents, and get updates on the status of your claim at any time.
Here’s what you need to sign up to the Claimant Portal. You will need internet access, an email address, and a computer or mobile device with a supported browser, like Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Microsoft Edge.
Here's how to sign up for the Claimant Portal.
Step One:
When filing a claim, you have the option of signing up and creating a profile.
Creating a profile will give you access to the Claimant Portal.
Step Two:
To sign-up and create a profile, you will be required to create a ONe-key ID and password. ONe-key is a unique electronic credential that allows claimants to communicate securely with online government services.
Detailed instructions will be provided to you by email when you start the process of creating your profile.
If you have any questions about ONe-key, please call ServiceOntario at 1-800-267-8097.
Here is how to use the Claimant Portal.
After you submit your claim, you can access the Claimant Portal by using the link in the claim submission confirmation email you received, or by visiting our website at Ontario.ca/ESAclaims
You will need to use your ONe-key ID and password to log into the portal.
You will be able to use the Claimant Portal to upload materials for your claim. Supporting documents are accepted in various common file formats, like PDFs, Word documents, or JPEGs.
